Beside this, are FM transmitters dangerous?
No. If the installation was done to code, there is nothing dangerous. Inside most of the transmitter, the danger is from electricity, not RF.
Subsequently, question is, do FM transmitters drain car battery? Clearly, that is not a problem. As a general rule, I'd shut off the FM transmitter or unplug it if your car has "always on" 12v power. That being said, unless the battery is old or the transmitter is left on for days, 8-10 hours of being left on should not be a problem for the battery.
Also Know, are FM transmitters illegal?
Part 15 certified FM transmitters can be used legally by anybody, anywhere in the U.S. without the need for a license.
Can a phone transmit FM?
Some Android phones come with built-in FM transmitter functionality, in which case you can use this natively or with a free app such as Quick FM Transmitter and then broadcast the MP3 and other audio files on your phone to your car radio.
