Simply so, how do I get rid of Fraps FPS counter?
Fraps is primarily a frames per second monitor, and the FPS readout will record along with Fraps video by default. To remove the counter from the video, click the “FPS” tab, then select “hide overlay” on the right side of the window.
Similarly, is Fraps FPS accurate? When compared to MSI afterburner, FRAPS isn't accurate. Afterburner reports much lower framerates when the game stutters or dips. Fraps kinda just hangs at a higher number. I don't use FRAPs any more when I want to find out the fps.
Also to know, how do I get the FPS counter?
The FPS counter is enabled by default and pressing F12 will bring it up in the upper left corner of your screen. Use the settings on the right side of the “FPS” tab to change the hotkey, specify a different screen corner, or hide the overlay.
How do I get rid of the Green FPS counter?
When pressing CTRL, ALT, or SHIFT, a green FPS counter gets toggled on/off in the top left of the screen (see image). It also beeps a few times when it does that (It beeps higher when toggling on and lower when toggled off).
