Moreover, do we know what we believe?
Since beliefs are mental states which make up our consciousness, we know we believe because we experience it in a similar way that we experience thoughts and desires. Visual experience, for example, is usually accompanied by a belief or certainty that what we are seeing is real.
Similarly, how do we know something? There are 3 main ways.
- Experiential (Empirical) With experiential, you know something because you've “experienced” it – basically through your five senses (site, hearing, touch, smell, and taste.)
- Cognitive (Rational)
- Constructed (Creational)
- Challenge What You Know.
In this way, how do we know what we know philosophy?
One goal of epistemology is to determine the criteria for knowledge so that we can know what can or cannot be known, in other words, the study of epistemology fundamentally includes the study of meta-epistemology (what we can know about knowledge itself).
How do I know what is true?
In order to know whether something is true you need to see whether it works. Your experience will tell you about it. If its practical, it is true. You must be able to apply it with successful results for it to be true for you.
