Example: if you have a default hopper it would take 64 seconds roughly to transfer a stack of 64 thus it having to tick 64 times. If you would make it transfer 32 items per tick time it would only need to tick twice instead of 64 times. This is a rough example, the numbers might be different but you get the idea. Any way to make items go up from a hopper? All I can think of is putting the hopper into a dropper which drops the item into a water elevator that drops the item into another hopper. There’s no way that I know of to move item up through hoppers. Water elevator would be your best bet. You can make a fast clock using observers and pistons.
