Minecraft crashes with “java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException” when loading on an older version (1 answer) Closed 2 years ago . I want to play minecraft in 1.7.10 but after launching it through the launcher and i try to open a server or single player world it crashes

So the problem is, that when I load forge 1.7.10, even with no mods, it crashes. And it doesn’t crash when I start my game, but when I load or make a world. I don’t know what is wrong. If you have played a minecraft session 1.8+, it could be that the game has altered the options.txt file in a way that 1.7.10 mods can not read, therefore crashing your game.
