im im correct this should be the fix for it. go to. C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft and delete options.txt. when you go from a newer version of minecraft to and older version the way render distance is done breaks when you put it too high in the new version then try and launch the older version. reply reply.

Minecraft loads and starts-up perfectly, however when I try to create a new world, or play an existing world, I get the dirt-texture loading screen, but without any text, and then, after about three seconds, minecraft closes, reopens the launcher, and presents a full crash report.

My problem is exactly as the title says; every time I try to walk into a specific area in my Minecraft world, my game crashes back to desktop almost immediately, and I cannot figure out why. I should first give some background… my world is a fairly large survival world, with a big city centered around my initial spawn point.
