You point and press with the mouse, and then unplug the mouse. This provides an autoclick that will work as an afk fisher. However, if you want to then leave Minecraft, you can reload the texture packs, ( fn + F3 + T for Windows, cmd + fn + F3 + T for Mac) and then, while the packs are reloading, alt-tab out.

Afk means “away from keyboard” and that’s exactly what you do, you go away from your keyboard.

For multiplayer, place the daylight sensor 8 blocks away from the piston with a comparator facing out of it and a redstone line into the piston. That way you are afk and the piston is powered off at night so other players can sleep if they want to.
