Clannad by itself is a solid 7-8/10. It's has it's fun/sad moments throughout, but focuses too much on the side characters and ignores Nagisa + Tomoya until the last few episodes. The rest of the cast does get development, but sidelining the main couple was a bit odd, if not completely necessary.
